Underfloor heating has always been seen as a luxury item and indeed it remains so to this day. With EPWarmfloor from Norway, you can now have affordable luxury, save energy and reduce running cost all at the same time.
EP Warmfloor is a strong, flexible, thin plastic heating mat. It is made of an innovative polymer blend, that heats when electricity is passed through the material. Our heating elements are a rugged plastic sheet that can be bent, twisted and even pierced. Traditionally other electric systems on the market you may find that their heaters are fragile, they have thin wires and cables and these can be easily damaged.
Contrasting to traditional electrical underfloor heating systems, relying on looped or embedded wires, our unique patented carbon polymer element actually conducts electricity throughout the whole area covered by the element. So your entire floor becomes one huge ultra-efficient radiator.
Unlike other types of radiant floor heating our product has the unique ability to self-regulate, it will automatically direct more energy to colder areas and less energy to warmer areas. This continuously, so that the temperature of the entire floor remains constant with minimum cost.
Operating on low voltage it is normally connected to a 24 V transformer and can also be run by solar or wind powered source. EP Warmfloor is a very safe product and ideally suited for bathrooms and other wet environments. As the product is essentially a polymer it is unaffected by moisture.
EP Warmfloor provides such even and gentle heating that it can be used under almost any flooring including carpet, vinyl, laminate, marble, stone, tile and even under wood. Ideal for renovation and new construction, because the product is so thin (1.2mm) and flexible it can be installed without needing to change the height of molding, door or cabinets. Each room can be individually controlled and furthermore, can be installed to existing floors (as long as you have access to the sub floor). EPWarmfloor can be installed between floor joists without the need to alter your existing floor. We highly recommend insulation below the elements.

- In the North Sea to keep living areas on oil platforms (100 feet above the ice cold ocean) warm and comfortable.
